Our founder

The path of our founder, Amelia Nunez, began not in marketing, but in the heart of storytelling. She’s a Honduran journalist who has commanded radio waves, graced television screens, and even shared the set with film actors. While her work telling powerful stories for NGOs and social projects was deeply fulfilling, she recognized a universal truth: the same deep, human narratives exist at the heart of purposeful businesses, but they were often left untold or told without the artful, clever touch they deserved. This led her to a powerful realization. Now based in Vancouver, Amelia found inspiration in the gentle Canadian culture and knew it was time to build her own den—a place where the stories of purposeful businesses could be told with both cleverness and care. And so, Gentle Fox Media was born.

Our story

What started as Amelia's one-woman show, fueled by cafecito and a passion for impactful narratives, quickly blossomed from her new Canadian home. From producing a pet's magazine (because who can resist puppy-dog eyes?) to creating compelling documentaries for international organizations, she has always been a storyteller at heart.

The journey wasn't always a straight line; it was a winding path through sound design, graphic arts, and late-night editing sessions. Now, that diverse expertise is the very soul of Gentle Fox Media, where we partner with a cunning crew of talented media crafters to transform messages into unforgettable visual and auditory experiences.
